how did he die?

a farmer was walking on his land. suddenely he saw a bundle and then he saw a dead man.immediately the farmer knew how the man met his death. how did the farmer know how he die and DID the man die?

simple answer, the farmer found the man inside the bundle right?
So the farmer thought the man died because of lack of oxygen.
